Raised in Connecticut, Whitney studied English and Journalism prior to beginning her career working at Ralph Lauren. Throughout her nine years with the company, she worked with the top photographers, art directors and editorial chiefs in the industry. During her time managing the appearance of Polo in the wholesale market, Whitney worked with accounts such as Bloomingdales, Nordstrom and Macy’s to collaborate on key advertising initiatives and strategies.

By the end of her tenure, she was working as the Women’s Fashion Editor, Digital. As such, she was responsible for site design and functionality, conceptualizing and executing Style Guides and Trend Reports, and digitally merchandising site pages. Additionally, Whitney worked closely with the Social Media team to ensure consistency and brand identity.

From Ralph Lauren, Whitney was recruited to work at a Vancouver-based start up, Noelle Floyd. There she was charged with creating a digital extension of the hugely popular equestrian blog into the e-commerce space. This included partnering with twenty-six brands to carry their products on the site, in addition to the editorial responsibilities of published Style Guides, Trend Reports and influencer interviews.
